My Latest Discover - How to fold laundry with a baby :)

After 5 months of struggling to keep Alyzah happy long enough to fold my laundry I finally discovered the trick! I put her in the basket of clothes I'm about to fold and she thinks it's super neat when I keep pulling the clothes out from around her. The only problem is that many of the clothes have some serious wet spots and could be redryed from Alyzah sucking on them the whole time. HA. But she seriously loves sitting in the laundry basket - sometimes when she's having a bad dad I'll put her in there with a few blankets around her and she thinks she is so cool. Oh the things a Mom tries to keep the house clean!

My New Hobby

Of course my new hobby has to do with FOOD. This is the very first loaf of bread I've ever made before!! Now I'm hooked - it was super easy, fun to do, and tasted amazing. Plus if you know Eric at all, you know how much he loves bread! He was like a little boy getting a gift at Christmas when he walked in from work and saw a hot loaf of bread of the counter...made me want to keep doing it! I'm going to try Wheat next. Let me know if anyone has any good bread recipes.

Thinking of Kyla

Thinking of my sweet little niece, Kyla today. She was my very first niece or nephew and the very first baby I was ever around. She holds a very special place in my heart. Her fun, whitty, tomboy personality would make anybody laugh. We all miss her and think about her a lot. Can't wait to see her again one day...

Smiles

It is so hard to get smiles on camera - the second Alyzah sees the camera she just dead-stares into the lense but i finally got a few little ones at least! Woohoo!

Toes and Hands!

A week or 2 ago Alyzah learned how to grab her feet and she is obsessed! She grabs anything and everything in sight but her toes are definitely her favorite. She also loves sucking her hands and fingers and often gags herself by sticking her fingers down her throat. Her shirt is soaked in about 30 seconds. I put the gray and pink dress on her below and went to find the camera, and by the time I took the photo this is what it looked like...

You Know You Haven't Had Enough Sleep When.....

So last night around 6:00 pm Eric was holding Alyzah and she was crying. I walked to the other room and grabbed her binky and walked back over to them and stuck it in Eric's mouth. Yeah that's right - Eric's mouth. HA.

Boppy and Jumper

All i have to say is....WHY DIDN'T I BUY A BOPPY SOONER?? Ever since i bought this thing last week, my life has become incredibly easier! And she is really starting to like her Jenny Jumper. Yesterday she swung in it for 1/2 hour!!! Life is gettin good.
