Baby Announcement

Here is Alyzah's baby announcement incase you haven't gotten yours yet. (yes Lyzah is 3 months old and i do still have some sitting on my counter). You all know me.. :)

No Keller Thighs!!!

Alyzah is going to be so grateful when she gets older because I think she escaped the Keller thighs and has Erics skinny little legs. She loves to be naked. She can go from crying to smiling in an instant if you just take her diaper off. Whenever her diaper is off, Alyzah either pulls her legs up in the air so he feet are right above her head or stretches her legs out straight and locks her knees, making it nearly impossible to change her diaper.

Visiting with Family

Dad, Kortney, and Jana came up for the baby blessing and Gram and Popper came all the way out here about a week after Lyza was born. We miss everyone.

Temper

 Lets just say that when Alyzah gets mad, she gets really mad. This was very apparent from the first day she was born.

2nd Bottle Ever!

Eric fed her her 2nd bottle of formula ever and she was staring at him the whole time trying to figure out what was going on. We laugh because we think she was probably thinking "wait a minute, how does Dad have milk for me??"

Playing

She LOVES her playmat and toys. If you put a ring or toy in her hand she gets a big smile and starts shaking her arm around like crazy. She also loves to kick them.

7 weeks old

Our Little Monkey

This hat is my favorite....well it has to be my favorite because it is the only hat she owns that fits her big head! Her head measures in the 95th percentile for her age and her hat is for a 6 month old! We like to say she must just have a big brain. :)

Alyzah Lisa Horner

Alyzah is such a good little baby (now that she is doing better with her dairy allergy anyway). She is definitely a morning girl and likes to wake up around 6:30 am but it is fun to be the one to get up with her that early because she is so full of smiles in the mornings. She is 12 weeks old today, but don't remind me...time goes by too fast. I cried when I had to pack her newborn clothes away.

Alyzah definitely has Mommy and Daddy wrapped around her little finger already and she has learned fast how to get her way. She has brought so much joy into our lives already and I absolutely LOVE being a mom.

My First Post

Whelp, Kasey convinced me to start a blog so here we go. This will be good for me too and force me to upload Alyzah's pictures with captions and whatnot. Plus, I didn't realize how many people have a blog - It's been fun looking at everyone's  family photos!
